My stay at Kung Shang Design was quite pleasant. The room was spacious, featuring a sitting area and good-sized shower, making it comfortable for work and relaxation. The breakfast offered a superb variety, catering to different tastes with both Eastern and Western options. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located, being a quick walk to Formosa Boulevard station and nearby eateries, including a noodle stall right downstairs.
The hot water ran out during my stay, which was disappointing.

Opt for the local MRT exit 10 for easier navigation to the hotel, especially if you have rolling luggage.

The spacious layout was perfect for our family gathering, and getting to enjoy easy access to the MRT made our excursions even better. My colleagues also enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks.

kung shang design is in a great spot, just a short walk to the formosan train station. our room was spacious, and the staff was really accommodating. the breakfast was also superb, adding to our pleasant stay.
however, a mild critique would be that some areas could use a bit of updating.

My time at Kung Shang Design was quite memorable! The room felt spacious and provided a sitting area plus a small dining table. I loved the unique decor throughout, especially in the themed room where my kids really felt the excitement. The kids’ corner on the third floor provided a ball pit, toys, and other fun activities that kept them engaged. Breakfast options were broad and included healthy choices, though it would’ve been nice to have more tea variety available instead of relying on the brewed pot. Parking was a breeze since they offered valet service. The location is a slight distance from the Formosa MRT Station making it tricky when managing kids, especially walking back after a long day. One inconvenience was that hot water ran out during our stay, so we couldn’t use the jacuzzi, which was disappointing. Overall, it’s an older hotel but still well maintained and worth the stay if you have young ones.
